Katie recently cared for a patient that was homeless. She went out of her way to give him extra TLC and get him cleaned up. She washed his hair and even had one of her family members bring in products that would work better for this patient's hair. She also coordinated with other staff to watch and care for her other patient so she could take him out to the gardens. He had not been outside in a while due to his prolonged hospital stay. Katie really showed this patient compassion and went out of her way to give him extra TLC.
