Katie has gone out of her way to ensure that her patient who suffered from a miscarriage was able to be updated on her mother's progress. The patient's mother was located on a COVID ICU unit and was unable to communicate due to intubation. Katie would personally walk up to the floor to ask the nurse caring for the mother of her patient for updates. Katie also went out of her way to purchase and deliver her patient's two children ages 6 and 3 Christmas gifts since the patient was unable to be discharged from the hospital due to complications following her miscarriage. The patient Katie is taking care of called Katie her angel. I think Katie is an angel too for doing these things for her patient and the family.
