Katie Corty has been with Piedmont Newnan Hospital for 10 months and as a new nurse she has already been recognized for her extraordinary nursing care. In the nomination form submitted for Katie the patient stated:

Though I received excellent care from everyone over my 8 day hospital stay, Katie surpassed all expectations! Each night, Katie would come in at the beginning of her shift and we would make a plan for treatment. I have no idea how she was able to do it, but she was always back in my room at the exact time she promised, with the utmost care and compassion. She truly is superwoman and made my hospital stay so much better!
