Katie is highly regarded and very beloved nurse from our Medicine Inpatient unit, 9 East at Boston Children's Hospital. She was recognized by the family of a patient who were so touched by her gentleness and care. The patient's mother who also happens to be a nurse said that witnessing Katie's care restored her faith in the nursing profession.
