My 13-year-old daughter was a patient in your facility for 10 days. She arrived with suicidal thoughts and cuts on her arm. My daughter is very shy so she did not bring up her missing clothes to staff. My daughter has trouble combing her hair so it became matted. Nurse Katie helped comb out the mats and, as my daughter described, made her hair beautiful. My autistic daughter was very excited to tell me about Katie. Katie was able to get the clothes she needed and made a suicidal autistic girl laugh and be excited again.
