I am so happy that Katie took the time to show and explain to me with my own disabilities what was wrong with L and how everything is being affected by what is going on. She told me how the doctors can fix what's wrong with L's heart and it made me feel better knowing after surgery she sat there and held her hand when I couldn't. I'm so happy she was here to comfort L when I wasn't able to and she made it feel like home and it was friendly when it was the scariest part of my life. She made it so joyful that it made it better and I never have seen my daughter be so comfortable around Katie and the fact that she took the time meant a lot to me because not only was I scared but I couldn't understand what was going on and Katie sat down with me and explained it to me.
