I was admitted in the evening and I was pretty weak and a little disoriented. Katie introduced herself and helped me through everything. I am a very independent person and have a hard time letting someone else do anything for me. She was kind and very patient. She explained everything she was going to do and why she had to do it. She listened to my nervous chatter. She was very pleasant.
I believe it takes a special person to be a Nurse. A Nurse is like a mom except you can care for your child unselfishly - nurses care for strangers in the same way. Katie is an asset to ORMC.
I was impressed with all the staff (Nurses and CNAs) but Katie was my favorite. I wish her the best in her future!
