I was transferred from PCU to Med Surg where I first met Katie on night shift. One of the first qualities I noticed about Katie was her innate ability to share care and concern for others along with a robust boost of positive energy.

The RNs that I have encountered here at Blessing have all been knowledgeable and wonderful, but Katie sticks out as one of those with the special quality of having the desire to take the extra step in providing excellent care to the patients. She has gone out of her way to explain any new meds I may be receiving. She explained to me what she was doing on the monitor, what she was giving me, what it was for, and the side effects.

I was diagnosed with pneumonia, A-Fib, and congestive heart failure. Katie has made this difficult time easier for me to accept. Again, she stands out above and beyond a great group of RNs at Blessing.
