We recently had a patient who needed monthly IVIG infusions. The patient was quoted $2000 a month to have the infusion at a contracted facility. Katie spent several hours researching different places where the patient could get her infusions. She contacted home care, pharmacy, and contracted facilities. Katie ended up finding out that the patient could get the infusions at home covered 100% after setting the patient up with our KP allergy department and pharmacy. The patient was extremely grateful for Katie taking the time to help her.
