Last month, my brother-in-law passed away in your hospital after a tough six-month battle with cancer. As always, this is a traumatic experience for a family that is unexpectedly faced with end-of-life situations and decisions. As his condition deteriorated in his final days and hours, the care and compassion demonstrated to the family (his daughters, his mother and his siblings) was nothing short of remarkable.
