We were here to be with him as he passed away from a battle with Alzheimer's. Katie was there from the beginning. She was always close by to see if we needed anything. When our mother needed reassurance that we were doing the right thing, she was there to let her know that he wasn’t in pain. Katie moved mountains to get the pain meds quickly when they ran out. She sat with us as he took his last breath. She was so calm and nice to the entire family as we said goodbye.
