I was in the hospital and I just wanted everyone to know how outstanding Katie Morris was to me and my family. She always came in with a smile and put my worries at ease. Even when she didn't have me as a patient for the day, she always stopped in and said hello and asked if I needed anything. The most special thing she did for me was bringing me an Easter basket. For 50 years, I have colored eggs with my kids, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. If they were not around, I would color eggs for myself. I was somewhat down because I couldn't do it this year from being in the hospital. I told Katie about my story and on Easter Sunday, she surprises me with Easter eggs and an Easter basket. I almost cried. I gave her a big hug and thanked her for being an outstanding and caring nurse! She is a jewel for doing something like that for me. She will always have a special place in my heart! She is an outstanding nurse.
