My dad had surgery at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland for his urinary problems. After surgery, he had to be hospitalized for observation overnight and Katie was very helpful to both me and my parents.
My parents are elderly and don't understand what is said all the time but she was very patient and explained his discharge information several times. She also helped get him whatever he needed with a smile and politeness, his coffee, water, helped order his breakfast and made sure he was comfortable.
We went home knowing he was in great hands and didn't have to worry about him. When I called about his discharge the following morning, Katie was very friendly and helped get my dad out fast so I could get him home and myself to work.
