I went into labor at 36 weeks, at 2 am. My family is 12 hours away and my husband, in Canada on business. Katie came on shift at 6 am and supported me through the entire day. I was stressed and scared and Katie was supportive and understanding the whole day until my husband could make it home. Then when I had to go in for a C-Section Katie came in the operating room even though her shift had ended. She went above and beyond what her job called for. If it weren't for her I would have fallen apart. She walked and supported me through an otherwise traumatic day. I am so thankful she was there. If something went right about the day it was my healthy baby and getting Katie as a nurse!!!
