Katie was a great nurse and IS a great nurse. Since I've been in recovery she and one other nurse showed me empathy and compassion. I didn't have to ask for things or constantly buzz for her. She treated me like she knew me and my daughter, and that's important. Even when she was busy she made me feel like I was her only patient. She checked on me constantly as well as my baby girl. I can tell she's in the right field of work. Something so simple as a conversation and just asking how I am doing goes a long way. Recovering after a C-section is hard enough so having a nurse who actually cared meant everything to me as well. Thank you, Katie! You're a great person and I just wanted to give recognition where it is due.
