Katie Peterson, RN, CEN

Katie is so amazing! Katie cohesively managed two trauma pediatric patients without difficulty on one of our shifts. Our patient was actively decompensating and Katie was there to provide comfort to our patient before he was intubated. Katie asked the patient if he had any wishes for contact with his family and if he wanted us to tell them anything when they arrived. It always amazes me when the nurse is able to maintain their composure all the while caring for a decompensating patient and assuring his social and holistic needs are met. I love working with Katie and she is such a great nurse!
