Katie was an amazing nurse!! I transferred from another facility; my spine was fractured. I was scared and in a lot of pain. She informed my worried family of everything and everyone that would be coming in. Of course, my family and I were worried about not knowing what would happen, she made us feel comfortable. She explained to my mom, boyfriend, and brother, medications I was on and why. Being in spinal precautions and being in so much pain she did her best, and I thank her for that. She came and checked on me like she said she would, as often as she could, and I couldn't tell you how much my family and I appreciated that. Katie is an Extraordinary Nurse! Katie made me comfortable, she made me smile when all I wanted to do was cry, and I trusted her. Katie, thank you for taking care of me during such a difficult time and making me feel as comfortable as you could.
