Katie is truly an asset to the nursing field. I have worked with Katie for almost a year now and she is so intelligent and cares so deeply for her patients. I have never seen someone advocate for their patients as well as she does. Katie doesn't care if she has to stay late to make sure her patient receives the best care. I have watched doctors ignore Katie's concerns for her patients, but she does not let that stop her. She is persistent and makes sure she understands why something is being done the way it is and if one doctor won't hear her out, she will find another to ensure the patient receives the proper treatment. Katie is 100% devoted to her patients while at work. She is an inspiration and I am honored to work with someone like her.
