Katie has always been such a patient, kind, caring nurse. I remember one specific situation when I was a new nurse working by myself. I had come into work and looked at the assignment; the charge nurse had given me two patients with extreme wound dressing changes. Katie saw the heavy load I had and took one of those patients from me so I wouldn't have such a heavy load, even though she had five patients of her own.
