This nurse was just amazing to me during my hospital stay. She was working with a new nurse, training her, and I could see how kind this nurse was to me, the patient, but also to this new employee. I needed a lot of help getting my pain under control, and she really helped. I am a chronic pain patient, and sometimes getting the right medication in the hospital is difficult, and sometimes I feel like I'm being judged. Katie made me feel really comfortable, and she was willing to try different things to help control my pain.
