Katie had an excellent sense of detail while explaining difficult and complex medical issues and procedures. Her attention to the style of learning that was needed for my personal understanding was exemplary, right down to her art work; her potato drawings made me smile. She would brighten the day with her sense of humor and uplifting attitude. Both Iand my family appreciated the way she would pull up a chair and sit down to have a conversation at our level, explaining the current plan of care. Katie's above and beyond approach to the care she chooses to give her patients was wonderful. This quality makes her an excellent representative to both PVH and the nursing community.
