Due to special circumstances, going to the hospital is a bit emotional every time, but especially during the delivery of my son. My nurse, Katie, was one of the only people besides the doctor who truly moved at my pace and showed amazing patience and genuine interest in my wellbeing. She made sure I got my special day no matter the circumstances and topped my delivery off with a large pile of fries and ranch, even though they don't usually do that for patients. She, in other words, made me feel loved.
