Katie Swindle, RN

When I was in the hospital, Katie was one of the nurses who cared for me. Although all of the staff at MRHC provided excellent care, I felt as if this nurse was exceptional. Apparently, she heard me coughing from the hall and came to check on me. I asked if they had any hard candy to help with my cough. They did not have any on the floor, but she was caring and considerate enough that she went to the pharmacy and got me cough drops and brought them to me. In addition, she was so diligent in her work performance that there was not a single time that I had to call the nurse's desk because my IV pump was beeping. Although I have only been in the hospital about 5 times in my life, I have never had a visit in which there was never been a time when at least once that beeping has happened until the recent visit. It is evident that Katie cares about her job and each patient whom she serves. With that being stated, I firmly believe that she is a DAISY Nurse.
