Katie Tisdale, RN

We had a family come in with smoke inhalation after a house fire. The 6-year-old patient was upset that she lost her stuffed animal in the fire. After looking within the hospital for a stuffed animal and having no luck, Katie asked her significant other (who also works at the hospital) to bring in a stuffed animal and a blanket from home that she had. This small but thoughtful gesture made this little girl's night. Katie is truly an amazing nurse and we are lucky to have her as part of our team in the Emergency Room.
