Katina is a very hard-working nurse. She comes to work every day with a good attitude. She always goes the extra mile for the individuals and the staff. She has been making positive changes to the home. Katina is a wonderful nurse; she is a supervisor who works on the units frequently to help with staffing needs. She helped me at a shift change emergency involving an individual whom I never worked with before, although the individual had been sent out, Katina was very helpful in stabilizing the child. She is committed to excellent care for the children and invaluable help to the staff.

She is always working outside her regular work hours to make sure that the individuals and staff are at the baseline and ready for the next shift to turn over. Whenever any issues arise with the individuals, she is very quick to respond and will find a solution that is best for everyone involved.

As the night shift nursing Supervisor, she is very visible and proactive. She frequently rounds each unit and always asks about each individual’s status.
