Katlin's attention to detail, protocol, and her administrative manners make me feel safe and cared for, which is what every patient, no matter their ailment, needs. She is always on top of my extensive appointment schedule and does her best to assign me to someone I'm comfortable with when she can't be my nurse for the day, alerting them to my every need. She doesn't hesitate to confer with my oncologist about any issues she thinks need to be addressed, and if I have a question about my care, no matter how superfluous, she addresses me with grace and humor and asks my oncologist as a double reassurance. Katlin has a hand in my actual physical care, and she inevitably has a hand in the psychology of my care. Katlin uses her judgment wisely and knows how to talk me down from my anxiety, with a mix of scientific and experiential knowledge and a healthy helping of positivity.
