Kat was wonderful with my foster son. She took such great care of his medical needs of course, but also went above and beyond to ensure he was comfortable. She brought him toys to play with, gave him a bath, sat and talked with me, and even showed him a newfound love of dinosaurs! She had a dinosaur toy flashlight on her badge that he adored, and she even took a moment to tell me where I could get one myself for him at home. She truly turned him totally around. He was upset, uncomfortable, and nervous his entire stay until he had Kat as his nurse. All of a sudden, he was so happy, loved being there, and was ecstatic anytime Kat walked into the room. I could not speak more highly of her, she truly made a hard time, wonderful.
