My dad was life-flighted from Huntingdon after suffering a devastating and non-recoverable stroke. The care Kate gave not only to my father but to my mother was beyond what we expected. She answered every question, comforted us in every way she was able, from bringing chairs, drinks, snacks, to repositioning and adjusting the vent and all the tubes to make sure he was as comfortable as she was able to make him and that he looked as proper as he could. She prayed with us and cried with us. She hugged my mother right and slipped her phone number into her hand and asked we call when we arrived home safely that night. Beyond what we expected of her.
