We had a patient who, when she was admitted, had a very strong odor coming from the room. Initially, they thought the odor was from the patient. It turn out it was the patient's sister. Katrina was able to talk with the sister and found out that she had a medical need but was afraid to see the doctor. Katrina got the number of the physician and called and set an appointment for the patient's sister. She went beyond to assist the patient's sister.
