Katrina had been caring for my dad since the day he arrived on Life Flight with a leaking abdominal aortic aneurysm. Dad's condition is complicated by the fact that he has dementia. Because of this, Dad can be very confused, angry, and downright mean at times. Katrina always showed compassion and patience when assisting him with his needs. She also gently but firmly encouraged him to walk even though he refused to do so. She has been a source of positive encouragement for my family and always responded to our many questions and concerns with compassion, humor, and patience. We are beyond grateful for her dedication and skills.
