I really wish to express my gratitude to the doctors and nurses at UP Health System – Portage at Hancock, MI. My wife felt the water break on Dec 16 at night, and our baby was in 37 weeks + 4. This is our first time being mom and dad, so we were super excited but anxious at that time. Then I made one of the best decisions in my life – I called the Hancock Family Health Center and got my baby delivered safely.

It took around 15 hours for our delivery. Katrina helped us on the first night and kept helping us throughout the whole process. Katrina encouraged my wife a lot, especially during the second stage of labor, and firmly repeated “good, nice and strong,” etc. She also answered all the questions we had and showed us how to be better parents for a newborn.
