Katrina was very supportive and nurturing during my mother's stay. She display compassion, taking time to comfort my mother when she was in distress. She exemplifies excellence in nursing. She intervened and reached out to the physician in charge to assess my mom when she was experiencing difficulty breathing.

The resulting overnight assessment determined that my mother had begun to retain fluid. Katrina's actions saved a readmission to the hospital because my mother would have continue to retain fluid with out the reinstatement of Lasix as a result of the additional test, and observations. I surely want to thank her for saving my mother's life.
