Katrina ensures that our patients are safe, and the staff is supported.
Katrina is a positive force on the Unit, always willing to help her colleagues, flexible, and cheerful even during stressful times. As a relief charge, Katrina ensures that our patients are safe, and the staff is supported. As Co-Chair of the SCU UPC, Katrina is very organized and a strong advocate for her colleagues and patients; she listens to all staff and ensures that they all have a voice on the Practice Committee. Katrina is also an Epic Superuser; in this role, she supported the staff during the rollout as well as continues in that resource role for the continued needs of the Unit as well as helping new staff. Katrina is a true DAISY Nurse because of her commitment to her patients, colleagues, and SCU as exemplified by all her contributions to the Unit!
