She has always gone above and beyond on neuro as an RRT resource. Always available to help. Always advocating. Always offering her advanced clinical expertise. In 2 instances she shined. She was rounding and offered to place a difficult Foley on a teenage patient in need. She has specialized urology experience. She took time to help this patient be comfortable and ready for a procedure. She showed compassion. In another situation with one of my patients with surgical complications and compromised airway, she advocated for this patient in need, along with the RRT team to get this patient to a higher level of care/supervision for his safety and unique needs. She successfully intervened before this patient had life-threatening risks. Being proactive is definitely her strength. We really appreciate her. She listens to patients and the RNs.
