Katy has led our teams across operations with clinic consolidation, closure, and re-opening to ensure the safety of the staff, providers, and patients.
Katy Hoxworth is the Regional Director for Dermatology, MOHs surgery, Allergy, and Rheumatology. Along with that work, she is the Operations Chief in the EOC (emergency operations center) and alternate Incident Commander for the Kaiser Permanente of Colorado (KPCO) region. In these roles, Katy is one of a handful of accountable KPCO leaders directing the response in our region to the COVID-19 pandemic. She has been key to many of the successes our region and ultimately our patients have realized during the response to COVID-19.
Katy has led our teams across operations with clinic consolidation, closure, and re-opening to ensure the safety of the staff, providers, and patients. Her leadership and thoughtful approach guided KPCO to start up testing and triage tents to meet the initial need for testing while much was unknown around how to safely cohort ill and well patients. Throughout the past 13 months of the EOC response, Katy has been consistent in her leadership with a calm/steady approach and clearly focused on the safety of all staff/providers/patients.
