February 2024 Honoree
Katy Kuhn, RN
My mom was in the ER recently. Katy had taken over and explained to me that she was being discharged from the ER and that she was ready to go. She had just gotten my mom as a patient. I explained to her my concerns about my mom not walking yet and being very weak. She was patient, kind, and quick to jump back into action and not let her go home in her state of how she was doing. She quickly got more tests done so we could find answers for her weakness and a new need for oxygen. Katy was on top of everything she was great and I am so glad she took over care for my mom. My mom was later admitted to the 8th floor because Katy's quick thinking and her compassion for her patients saved my mom's life. Thank you, Katy, for all you do and for your compassion. I'm so thankful you took over her care that day!
Thank you, Katy, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
