Katy is very knowledgeable, always friendly, extremely attentive, and performs her duties 110%. She was always available for questions or assistance if and when needed. She does her job with pride and has a thirst for knowledge. I take great pride in the fact that I had the opportunity to meet her. Her love for people, her patients, and God is obvious and real.
My deepest regret was not being able to see her again before we were moved to the 3rd floor. I highly recommend Katy and would not hesitate to ask for her specifically at any time and would feel honored to have her as a nurse or anything. Katy may not remember me years from now but she is unforgettable and has made an incredible impression on me. I take great pride in being able to say, "I met Katy Woods." My husband spent 5 days in CCU and he never had the privilege of meeting Katy because he was in a paralytic coma, but he was exceptionally blessed by being cared for by Katy.
I know if he ever had the opportunity to meet her after he regained consciousness he would have not only been very impressed and pleased with her but liked her as well as I do. Her quality of professionalism is a rare and dying breed. Katy is a breath of fresh air and has qualities that outshine the sun. Her humble demeanor makes it obvious that she is real and has no idea that she is well worth her weight in gold. I had several nurses before and after Katy but no one ever held a candle to the quality of Katy. She does her profession for all of the right reasons and she definitely, without a doubt earns her dollar. Treated Well and Well Treated!!! Amen!
