Kay Mulloney, RN

I am nominating Kay for the DAISY Award due to her great care for my dad! When my dad was undergoing chemotherapy, she always welcomed him with a smile. When Kay was my dad’s nurse, she was very passionate about the care she provided. She has such a large amount of love for patients and her career in nursing. When my dad’s weight was dropping, he was becoming dehydrated. She expressed her concerns with my dad not eating and even went out of her way to ask the doctor for fluids (that made him feel better). Kay always knew my father’s labs when I would ask and explained what each meant, giving us comfort. When one nurse was behind on her work, Kay jumped in and helped them. She’s a fantastic team player. Kay 1000000% follows all the PETALS criteria. Thank you!
