When our father was admitted to ICU, we were distraught, as you can imagine, but were comforted by Kaya's compassion, grace, and attentiveness to him and us. Kaya was patient and thorough. She clearly explained everything being done to him, came in several times throughout the day to check on him, and excused herself when she had to tend to another patient. She was firm yet compassionate and embodied all DOCTORS criteria attributions. We really missed her after the end of her shift for the week, as no one could replicate the level of care and service she provided. Kaya was a fantastic nurse to my father, who, unfortunately, passed away, but while he was in her care, she answered all our questions and gave us good descriptions of what was going on with our father.

She was very kind and caring and such an amazing person to my father, and I thank her so very much for everything that she did for my father. She has set the bar high for amazing nurses; I will never forget her. Thank you, Kaya, for being such an amazing person.
