A Riley nurse since 2006, Kayla said she always knew she wanted to work with kids because she comes from a large family and has been around kids her whole life. "I love making (patients) laugh and teaching them new things while helping them get well during their hospital stay," she said. Kayla was nominated by a patient who said: "Kayla is nice, loving and always there when I need her. She's the most beautiful person inside and out."
