I had a hip replacement at TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center. After my surgery, I was sent to recovery. When I came to, I couldn't breathe. This is when God sent me an angel. Her name is Kayla. She never left my side, telling me to stay calm and how to breathe, properly elevating my head when I needed it. She was calm and so professional, making me feel safe from her actions. This young lady was sent from heaven I do believe, just to be the chosen one in this field.
After getting me better, she then turned her attention to another patient having a hard time and within minutes this patient too was calm and doing better. It's individuals like Kayla that deserve the DAISY Award, for her compassion, knowledge, sincerity, love, and especially knowledge of her position and willingness to perform her duties. She should be commended for doing such a great job; she gives Southern Hills a great name in terms of their care. I fully recommend this hospital and Kayla for the best care in health care!
