Kayla is an excellent example of what a nurse should be to her patients. I had to have emergency appendix removal and she was so kind and professional as she explained what the procedure would be like. She was comforting and eased my mind by answering any questions I had about the doctor, the surgery, and recovery. Her patience, compassion, and positive attitude kept me from any worry or fear that my surgery wouldn't have a successful outcome with her reassuring words. She also went the extra mile after my surgery to wait with me (past her work duty hours) to make sure that I got settled into my hospital room overnight. I was grateful for her attention to detail, clear explanation of medical procedures and protocol, and loving care to see me all the way through to the next stage of care. She deserves 10 daisies!!
