Kayla is extraordinary. I know that there are other patients that need help, but Kayla always told me that I was important and made me feel special and important. When they were going to do a procedure on me I was so scared, and Kayla was there with me and told me everything will be okay, she was so sweet. When I was crying she was goofy to cheer me up.
I was embarrassed about my condition and especially that I needed someone to bathe me. In my mind, once you need help with that you are nearing the end. But when Kayla helped me, she kept my dignity, she made me feel cared for and important and that she really understood me. Kayla is a special nurse and I don't know what I would have done without her.
