A patient was in the operating room for a minimally invasive surgical procedure. She was going to be discharged home late after the procedure. Her mother was here to receive her post-operatively but was unable to drive her home to Tallahassee that evening. The patient and her mother planned to sleep in their car until the following day when they would return home. After learning this, Kayla Glover secured and paid for a hotel room for the night for the patient and her mother. This is just one example of how goes above and beyond every day caring for our patients.
