Kayla took it upon herself to make handmade Valentine Cards for every patient on 3C; these cards were designed on cardstock paper and individually designed for every patient. She gave all 31 patients a card in honor of Valentine's Day. She wrote a special message on each card. Patients and their family members were so appreciative of their cards. Kayla used her own funds and spent hours making them at home.
Kayla's thoughtfulness and caring nature exemplify the characteristics of a DAISY Nurse.
