Kayla Hernandez, RN

After deciding to withdraw care for our daughter, Kayla, who had cared for us for the past five months, was not going to be there for her last day. Once we decided it was time, Kayla showed up on her day off to sit and be with us as we said goodbye to our daughter. She made the hardest thing in our life a little bit easier by being there. We can’t imagine a more selfless act than this. We couldn’t think of a more beautiful way for our girl to have passed than with Kayla having a hand on her as well.
