Kayla Hugney, RN

Kayla is our in-house Cerner specialist. With the new implementation of Cerner into the ambulatory setting, Kayla has been a VITAL part of this switch within Penn Highlands Clearfield. Not only does she continue to work with the inpatient side of Cerner on all other floors; she has also taken on the responsibility of the outpatient clinics located within Penn Highlands Clearfield.

Kayla is always extremely helpful. If she does not have an answer for your question, you can rest assured she will get the answer for you. And she does it with a smile on her face. She has an incredible amount of patience with everything that is being thrown her way. She handles every situation with grace and professionalism.

Whether we call her, email her, or leave her a message, she is right there to answer and help. It is nothing for just one office to call her multiple times throughout a shift, and she always walks happily and ready to help. All of this while maintaining her friendliness and positive attitude.

Not only will she talk you through the problem, but she will also make sure to ask about your day and what is going on at home, too. She cares deeply about her co-workers both professionally and personally.

She is a huge asset to the Penn Highlands team.
