Kayla Kresak, RN
Compassion, by definition, is “sympathetic pity and concern for the sufferings or misfortunes of others”. Kayla, by my definition, is the embodiment of compassion. I was her patient. I was scheduled for an appendectomy and my pain that night was excruciating. I’ve been through natural childbirth, had a C-section and tubal ligation, and none of those compared to this pain. Kayla jumped to action to get me relief. But she didn’t just get me relief; she consoled me and showed true concern for me. I am so grateful to have had her as my nurse that evening! Kayla was a true angel in my time of need. You have a true and invaluable asset in this amazing young woman and truly hope you recognize her special qualities. My interaction with her will stay in my mind and heart for eternity. With much gratitude.
