Kayla M. Griffin, RN

My daughter, M, had open heart surgery. We spent 2 nights in the ICU and Kayla was our nurse on both nights. When my daughter woke up she was in terrible pain. I panicked because she was panicking. Kayla acted quickly but calmly and got her to settle down, got her medicine, then checked on me. I was sobbing and she hugged and comforted me as well. Throughout the night she was delighted in answering all of our questions, administering machine, stopping bells, and being kind and personable. I felt very comfortable that she knew exactly what she was doing and we were in good hands. When she came back the next night, she greeted us with a smile, chatted with M, and made us feel at ease. Anyone who is lucky enough to have her as a nurse will have an awesome one. Thank you, Kayla!
