Kayla MacArthur, BSN, TNCC

I came out of surgery in the most unimaginable pain one could experience. I literally felt like I was dying. Kayla MacArthur held my hand and spoke to me with such softness and compassion. She advocated for me to my surgeon. My surgeon even told me days later that the care I received was a direct result of Kayla advocating for me in the PACU. Kayla made sure I was safe and cared for like a family member. Nurses like Kayla exemplify what it means to be a great nurse. Kayla was the difference in my care, and I feel so lucky to have gotten her as my nurse.
